Shooting against the sun

_DSC6518

It's very easy... for nikon CLS at least. I used my zeiss 35mm f2, at f5.6 aperture and let the camera decide how much fill light is needed, in TTL.

Was that done with your D3X? If so, what flash did you use. I have a D300 and SB600 and am learning it...

Thx

This was shot with the d700 and sb900. I had a dome diffuser aimed directly at my daughter. I had my camera set to aperture priority, matrix meter and -1 stop ev. You can achieve that with your setup as the sb600 offers TTL. Good luck!
